Presidio Storage (“Presidio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides resident-only basement storage in New York City multifamily buildings. This policy covers personal information handled through presidiostorage.net, our property inquiries, and our storage administration.
The current website includes an email-based property-evaluation form and a restricted internal operations workspace. Owner and tenant self-service portals, online automatic payments, and electronic lease signing are planned features and are not currently active.
Information we collect
- Inquiries and correspondence. Your name, email address, optional phone number, property address, basement details, and information you include in messages to us.
- Property and storage records. Owner names, building and unit details, agreed revenue shares, tenant names and contact details, apartment information, unit assignments, lease dates, rent amounts, signature status, and manually recorded payment amounts, billing months, dates, and status.
- Administrator sign-in and activity. An authorized administrator’s authenticated email address and name, when available, and a record of actions taken in the internal workspace.
- Technical information. Our hosting and sign-in providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs when delivering their services.
Information may come directly from you or from a property owner, manager, or authorized representative administering the storage program. Administrator identity information comes from the sign-in service.
The evaluation form prepares an email in your email app. It does not submit the form to our website database; we receive the inquiry when you send the email. Please do not include Social Security numbers, passwords, or full card or bank-account details in the form or ordinary email.
How we use information
We use relevant information to:
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate potential storage partnerships.
- Manage buildings, units, tenant records, leases, and service requests.
- Track rent and payment status and calculate owner revenue shares.
- Maintain accounting and operational records and communicate about service.
- Control administrator access, troubleshoot issues, and help prevent misuse.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Cookies and technical data
Presidio currently does not add third-party advertising or analytics trackers to this website. Hosting and sign-in services may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, and service operation, and may process the technical information described above.
Our cookie banner records a necessary-only preference. The first-party cookie named __Host-presidio-consent stores the policy version, your preference, and the time it was saved for up to 180 days in this browser on this domain. It contains no name, email address, or storage-unit information. Use in the website footer to review or update it. If your browser blocks the preference cookie, the choice applies for the current visit and the banner may return on a later visit.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or affect other website functions. If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this policy and ask for a new, specific choice before enabling it. Your current necessary-only preference does not authorize future optional tracking.
Payments and documents
The current website records payment and lease status for administration. It does not collect full payment-card numbers, bank-account credentials, or electronic signatures. Automated payment collection and electronic lease signing are not enabled.
Before those features collect information, we will update this notice to identify the relevant providers, the information involved, and any additional privacy choices. Please follow the payment and document instructions provided for your storage arrangement.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including active storage arrangements, accounting, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. The period depends on the type of record and the reason it is kept; a deletion request may not remove records we must retain.
The website uses HTTPS, and access to the internal operations workspace is restricted to authorized administrators. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Your privacy choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to ask about its use or disclosure. Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have additional privacy rights. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity or authority before responding.
You may choose not to provide optional information. Information needed to respond to an inquiry or administer a storage arrangement may still be required. If you receive promotional messages from us, you may ask to stop receiving them; necessary service or account communications may continue.
Send requests to info@presidiostorage.net with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Include enough context to locate your records, and avoid sending sensitive identification documents unless we arrange an appropriate method.
Children and other services
Our website and storage services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. When you use a provider’s services directly or follow an external link, its own privacy notice applies to that separate service. You can review the notices from OpenAI, Cloudflare, and Google.
Policy updates
We will update this page when our practices or available services change and revise the date above. If a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it before applying that change.
